This instructor-led course provides Active Directory Technology Specialists an introduction to Active Directory server roles in Windows Server 2008. The course is intended for entry level students who want to get familiar with the Active Directory server roles and their basic functionality.

Performance-based Objectives:

After completing this course, students will understand how Active Directory server roles are used and learn about the purpose and components of Active Directory Domain Services. Students will learn how to configure organizational units and user, computer and group accounts. Lastly, students will learn how to manage access to shared resources.

Module 1: Exploring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Roles - This module provides an overview of the Active Directory (AD) server roles.
