Network Security is essential to every business and organization.
Data theft, loss of productivity and decreased profits are
unfortunately commonplace due to security breaches. IT Security
Pros must be specifically trained to think proactively.
The Security Certified Program's SCNP and SCNA certifications
provide a solid knowledge of both defensive network security
systems and the newer trusted needs of security.
Over
the years, certification has become the foundation method
for verification of an employee's skill. The demand for
IT professionals with skills in the fast changing world
of network security have been hard to find. When those people
are found, there has been no solid method of verification
of those skills. The Security Certified Program has changed
that. Today's complex electronic world requires IT pros
with security skills above the standard. The Security Certified
Program ensures that employers know that those candidates
holding SCP certifications have undergone extensive training,
and have passed the difficult and detailed examinations.
Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
The
SCNP program focuses on defensive security technologies,
such as Firewalls and Intrusion Detection. The up-to-date
security lessons and the hands-on labs bring the security
networking world to the candidates.
The
SCNP program is divided into two exams, which have corresponding
courses, the first Hardening The Infrastructure (HTI) and
the second being Network Defense and Countermeasures (NDC).
Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA)
The
SCNA program is where those individuals who wish to take
their security skills to the next level will excel. In this
program, candidates will learn how network security is moving
towards trusted communication, and how the defensive schemes
alone are not enough. Dealing with the most exciting and
critical areas of security, the SCNA program deals with
the realm of digital certificates, digital signatures and
Biometrics.
The
SCNA program is divided into two exams as well. The first
exam is titled Enterprise Security Implementation (ESI).
The ESI exam covers the material of both SCNA courses. The
first course is Advanced Security Implementation (ASI).
The second course is Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS).
Please check the respective pages for further details about
each course.
